Apologies for the radio silence from these parts recently; WCA activists have all been participating pretty enthusiastically in the upsurge in anti-cuts activism which has unfortunately meant that the basic business of maintaining this blog has fallen by the wayside. However, we plan to turn that around in 2011.
We’ll be using this blog as an online resource for people who want to make arguments that connect working-class struggles against cuts with working-class struggles against climate change. We’ll be reporting on class struggle in high-emissions industries such as aviation and energy generation as well as hosting debate and discussion about how to develop a working-class ecology when faced with the prospect of catastrophic climate change.
